We are able to offer our Advanced Driver on a DRIVER ONLY basis

to cover holidays and sickness of your chauffeur or other events

Chauffeur charges as from the 1st January 2015 - Chauffeur Driving your own vehicle

CHAUFFEURS HOURLY CHARGE TO CLIENTS:               £25.00 Per Hour (Monday to Sunday 07.00 to 22.00) charged £6.25 per 15 minutes

22.00 to 07.00 All day BANK HOLIDAYS (Midnight-Midnight):      £45.00 per Hour  charged £11.25 per 15 minutes

CHAUFFEURS DAILY TRAVEL ALLOWANCE (Per Day)      £12.50 Per Day (up to 10 miles from our base in Petworth and then £0.80 per mile)

Meals Allowance (if not provided by the client)        Breakfast £10, Lunch £15, Dinner £25

Chargeable Hours begin when driver arrives at clients premises and end on return to Petworth (Our base)

MINIMUM HIRING: 5 HOURS PER DAY AT THE FLAT RATE PLUS DAILY TRAVEL ALLOWANCE PLUS DAILY HANDLING FEE. ( £137.50)

OVERNIGHT STAY

Chauffeurs non working hours, "away from home" allowance £7.00 per hour. Client to cover accommodation costs.

INSURANCE COVER

It is the responsibility of the client who is hiring the Chauffeur to ensure that the appointed chauffeur is covered, at least as a named driver, on the Insurance cover of the vehicle to be driven. This has to be arranged by the client and is entirely at their own cost and risk.  We will be unable to allocate a Chauffeur until we have received a copy of the insurance cover document.

MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES

Costs incurred by the Chauffeur during the hire period will be charged to the client at cost plus VAT.  Typical costs are car parking, toll charges and fuel.

FUEL COSTS

 Please note that although the driver carries a float for expenses he is not able to purchase all your fuel for you and you are expected to pay this cost yourself !!

( Either by providing us with cleared funds in advance to pay for fuel or by providing the the driver with CASH or by making a  card payment on the day)

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS

For licensing reasons all bookings must be made through West Sussex Private Hire and not with the chauffeur directly.

CANCELLATION CHARGES

Cancellations with less than 12 hours notice, prior to the commencement of the requirement will be liable to an administration fee of £30.

ACCOUNTS / METHOD OF PAYMENT

All our chauffeurs are contracted on a self-employed basis.  Clients will receive a weekly invoice  which will contain the drivers hours worked, other liable charges and total due.This invoice must be paid prior to the commencement of the following hire period. We will also include in the invoice the Administration fees listed above.  Methods of payment can be discussed at the time of booking; credit cards are subject to a 4% charge.  Please note that our payment terms are strictly seven days from date of invoice.
